Introduction

Hi! I’m Sophia Castro (she/her). My experience spans both corporate and research settings, including roles at NBCUniversal, Experian, and the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative. I’ve led cross-functional projects, optimized data workflows, and contributed to efforts that elevate representation, accessibility, and inclusion. Whether building automation tools in Python or overseeing a 15-person research team, I bring a detail-oriented and impact-focused approach to my work.

Currently, I am a Knowledge Analyst at MediaLink. I focus on implementing AI-driven knowledge management systems, managing research partnerships, and uncovering industry trends that guide strategic decision-making across media, marketing, and entertainment. My goal is to ensure our advisory services are backed by timely, actionable insights that help clients stay competitive in a fast-changing landscape.

I earned my M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California and my B.A. in Communication from UC Santa Barbara. At the core of my work is a passion for translating research into results and helping organizations navigate complexity with clarity.
